Great class for your child

At Saugaat Montessori School, our Grade 1 program is guided by progressive pedagogies that align with the prescribed government curriculum, while ensuring a truly student-centered learning environment. We believe education should not only build academic knowledge but also develop real-life skills, strong moral values, and confident individuals. Our approach is hands-on and experiential—children learn through field trips, projects work, presentations, and thematic activities that connect classroom learning to the real world. With IT-integrated learning and regular use of digital tools, students explore, research, and create in ways that are age-appropriate and meaningful.

A special focus is placed on instilling moral values and making our students skillful and responsible in everyday life. We emphasize habits like teamwork, respect, empathy, responsibility, and discipline through activities woven into their daily routines and classroom culture.

Reading and literature are central to our teaching. We nurture a love for both English and Nepali literature through activities such as book reviews, author studies, writer workshops, coffee House, storytelling, and chhanda-Bachan, which help students improve language skills, imagination, and confidence. Parents are also involved regularly in school events, creating a shared educational journey.

To further boost confidence and leadership, students participate in a range of programs such as Saugaat Prativako Manch, Chhanda Sanjha, Literature Festivals, Math & Science Exhibitions, Sports Day, Olympic Day Celebrations, Parents’ Day, Grandparents’ Day, Bal Bhajan Aaradhana,  and International’s day celebration, festivals celebration. Students often serve as Master of Ceremony during events  gaining valuable experience in public speaking and stage presence.
