Great class for your child

At Saugaat Montessori School, Grade 3 marks a significant milestone as it is the final year of our primary-level offering. Our focus at this stage is to ensure that every child leaves our school fully prepared — academically, emotionally, socially, and morally — for the next phase of their educational journey. We adopt a progressive, student-centered pedagogy, strictly aligned with the government-prescribed curriculum, while integrating advanced real-life learning experiences, literary enrichment, and life skill development.

Grade 3 learners are encouraged to take greater ownership of their learning through independent projects, critical thinking tasks, research-based presentations, and collaborative group work. With IT integration and access to diverse resources, students engage in deeper inquiry and creative expression. All subjects are approached through a thematic, hands-on model, including regular field visits, which help connect academic content to the world around them.

We place special emphasis on preparing our Grade 3 students to transition confidently to new schools. This includes academic readiness, strong communication skills, and the ability to face new environments and expectations. Our students leave with the mindset to take on any challenge with confidence and resilience.

Our commitment to moral values, life skills, and cultural grounding remains central. We continue to build habits such as responsibility, empathy, discipline, respect, and cooperation. Students are empowered to lead, reflect, and serve.

We also advance our literature-based learning, with students participating in activities such as book reviews, author studies, poetry writing and recitation, creative storytelling, writer workshops, and chhanda-bachan — enhancing fluency, comprehension, and expression in both English and Nepali. Reading habits are deepened, encouraging lifelong engagement with books.

Grade 3 students play leading roles in all major school events. From being Master of Ceremony to leading exhibitions and performing confidently on stage, they are trained to present themselves with clarity and poise. Events like Saugaat Prativako Manch, Chhanda Sanjha, Literature Festivals, Math & Science Exhibitions, Olympic Day, Parents’ Day, Bal Bhajan Aaradhana, and Grandparents’ Day provide platforms for leadership, cultural pride, and skill demonstration.
