Children are actively preparing for admission to the first grade. They are engaged in reading, literature, mathematics, drawing, physical education. Educators introduce children to the basics of traffic and behavior on the street.
About Program
Saugaat ICON is the grand annual signature event of Saugaat Montessori School — now proudly entering its 9th season. It is specially designed for Senior KG (Pre-II) students (ages 5 to 5.5) to help them build self-confidence, overcome stage fear, and express their talents in front of a live audience.
This unique platform is inspired by events like Little Lady, Master Nepal and Little Champs, where children present themselves through introductions, talent shows, Q&A, and creative performances.

Prestigious Venue & Audience
Saugaat ICON is hosted at Rastriya Naachghar, Nepal’s biggest and most prestigious auditorium, filled with a huge audience including:
- Leaders of top preschools
- National and international educators
- Parents and well-wishers who witness and admire the children’s remarkable growth and confidence.
Participants
- Senior KG (Pre-II) students are the main contestants.
- Junior KG (Pre-I) students also participate through fashion shows and themed segments, as part of their preparation for the next year.
Choreography & Training
Our event is choreographed by Mr. Swojan Rajbanshi, Nepal’s first gold medalist in Bharat Natyam and the first Ph.D. scholar in dance. Since the beginning, he has beautifully mentored our children to express through movement, rhythm, and grace in an age-appropriate manner.
Timing & Format
Held every year in the second half of the academic session, the event includes:

- Talent Performance
- Q&A and Stage Walk
- Cultural or Gratitude Segment
- Fashion Walk for Juniors
Every child receives certificates, Titles Award, Token of appreciation, honoring their unique personality and courage.
